Project type - Personal Project
Role - Creative Director, stylist and Photographer
Process - This photography project is one of my firsts.
I was inspired by Raja Ravi Varma's paintings to create imagery with a unique blend of lighting, style and the use of colour. It started with understanding what creative direction is, that helped in understanding what I need to know in order to achieve the desired results I was looking for this project. The project started with with a clear idea of what I wanted, but being flexible throughout the shoot. I can divide the project into 3 parts - Preparation, execution and production.

During the preparation phase, I conducted thorough research, focusing on creative direction to clarify my vision and determine the specific techniques needed to achieve the desired results. This involved planning the shoot with a clear idea in mind, yet maintaining flexibility to adapt to any unforeseen challenges.

The execution phase was about bringing this vision to life. I carefully managed the shoot, paying close attention to the interplay of lighting, style, and colour to ensure consistency with the project’s inspiration and goals.

Finally, the production phase involved refining the imagery, ensuring that each photograph resonated with the blend of elements I had envisioned. This process was not just about capturing moments, but about crafting a narrative that aligns with my creative aspirations.
